As a competitor in the JSD-sponsored competition, I was given a file for a blank frame and the competitors all given a a little more than a week to design a frame.
My the key parts of my design were a frame that accommodated larger hands better than OEM and integrated gas pedals.
After making it past the first round, a few revisions were needed to make the handgun frame as good as it could be.
Along with a few aesthetic changes, version 1.5 brought better magazine compatibility with the flared mag well.
Although the competition was not won, a victory was the popularity of the design. Because of its popularity, Unseen Killer produced a texture pack remix of the design, most liked easily being the topographic version.
