MrSnow is responsible for the large majority of the critical geometry laid out for the Snow Pea. With a working STEP file and great pointers/lessons learned with the project, he handed his early version of the Ruger MK1 Receiver and I got to work.
Snow Pea
The Snow Pea is my take on the Ruger MK1 receiver. With a portion of the work done by MrSnow, the feed ramp geometry and locking block area were the primary areas redesigned outside aesthetics.
You have your choice of six variations should you build your own, including an integrally suppressed version, target models, and one ready-to-accept an insert with a threaded portion on it for use with a silencer.
This build uses the Ruger MK1 grip assembly and bolt assembly.
